ONCE UPON A TIME…
The Poches is a band born in the garage of an old summer house in one of the last hippies strongholds of Valldoreix (Barcelona). We played covers of bands like Nirvana, The Strokes, Block Party, Audioslave, Jimi Hendrix, Els Pets or Sopa de Cabra.
If we had to describe our style, we would say something like a mix of indie and rock. At the moment we’re recording some new songs and we hope that one day they will be ready to download.
It’s been 2 years since we made our tremendous début but our aim hasn’t changed at all: Have fun composing songs and playing around.

The Poches és un grup amb projecció internacional, vam començar la nostra aventura el febrer del 08 en un garaig d’una casa d’estiueig dels anys 70. Som una barreja d’integrants uns que ja duien temps dedicant-se a la música i d’altres que no. Al principi vam començar a fer covers per allò d’anar agafant experiència, però ara comencem una nova etapa amb més temes propis.
El nom del grup apareix degut a la necessitat de trobar un nom ràpid pel primer concert 3 mesos desprès de la seva creació. Deriva del sobrenom del nostre guitarrista Alex anomenat Poche en els seus temps de jugador de futbol del Bellaterra, sobrenom derivat del seu cognom amb la semblança amb el nom del llavors jugador de l’espanyol Mauricio Pochettino.

The Poches es un grupo nacido en el olvidado garaje de una antigua casa de veraneo situada en uno de los últimos reductos hippies de Valldoreix (Barcelona). Hacemos versiones de grupos como Nirvana, The Strokes, Block Party, Audioslave, Jimi Hendrix, Els Pets o Sopa de Cabra. Ultimamente estamos trabajando en temas propios.

The Poches ist eine weltweit orientierte Musikgruppe. Unsere Abenteuer wurde am Februar 2008 in einer Garage eines siebsigen Feiernhauses begonnen. Wir sind eine Mischung zwischen Anfänger und Teilnehmern, die eine grosse Erfahrung in diesem Fach haben.
Am Anfang haben wir nur COVERS gespielt, aber heutzutage sind wir in einer neue Phase, wo wir unser eigene Musik spielen.
